Dennis J. Draut passed away December 4, 2020 in Glenview, IL. Dennis was born in Chicago, IL and then his parents moved to Arlington Heights, IL where he and his nine brothers and sisters grew up. He graduated from St. James Catholic grade school and Arlington High School. Dennis was a letter carrier for Northbrook post office for 30 years and retired in 2010. He and Geraldine then moved to Lake Villa, IL. Dennis was an avid White Sox fan. He had two teams, White Sox and anyone who played the Cubs! He always went to spring training in Florida and Arizona in March. He enjoyed camping in the north woods in Wisconsin in the summer.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife Geraldine of 47 years, his beloved son Garrett (his fiancée Alicia Dodge), four brothers; Michael, Terrance (Alejandra Ameijeira), Timothy, Robert, and five sisters; Patricia Diggs, Danette Draut, Sheila Draut, Megan (Gary) Kurek and Frances Draut.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday July 6, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm with the United States Army and service at 5:30 pm at Northern Illinois Funeral Services, Inc 31632 N. Ellis Drive, unit 209 Volo, Il 60073.
