Ethel Rose Salyers Lundstrom passed away peacefully early Sunday, December 11, 2022. She will be missed by those whose lives she touched. Ethel leaves the world a better place for having been here. She was gentle and fair. She loved being surrounded by people, was always up for some fun, and eager to start new adventures. Ethel volunteered at Salem Christian School, and worked at Northeastern Illinois University.

Preceded in death include her husband, Bernie; her 8 siblings: Charles Salyers, John Salyers, Thomas Salyers, David Salyers, George Salyers, Ann Cohrs, Nancy Lech, and June Johnson; her grandson Arthur VanDette; and two daughters-in-law, Jackie and Lisa. She leaves behind her children: Ruth (Jim) Stevens, Paul (Teresa), Carol (Gene) VanDette, and Phillip; and her grandchildren, Olivia, Frank (Genevieve), Joy, and Janine; and great-grandchildren Emma, Ryan, Gavin, Raymond and Skylar; and countless nieces and nephews.
