Irene T. Murphy 80, of McHenry passed away November 10, 2020 at McHenry Northwestern Hospital. She was born April 12, 1940 in Rockford, Il to Russell and Catherine (Mann) Murphy. Irene was in banking for 40 years before retirement. She enjoyed traveling when she was younger. She was a member of the Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality of St. John’s.
She is survived by her brother; John (Barbara) Murphy, sister; Roberta Bishop, Kathleen Halley (Donald Hironimus) many nieces and nephews.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents, sister; Veronica Sanders, brother: Joseph Kalavas.
A celebration of life mass will be held 10:00 am August 9, 2021 at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church 2302 W. Church St., Johnsburg, IL 60050. Inurnment will be immediately after the mass at St. John The Baptist Roman Catholic Church Cemetery.
