Janice Marie Arnold, nee Waldau of Wonder Lake, Il. A celebration of life service for Janice Marie Arnold, 80, will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the Wonder Lake Bible Church at 3 p.m. at 7511 Howe Rd, Wonder Lake, IL 60097. A time of remembrance, food and fellowship will immediately follow the service.

Jan went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, while her loving and dedicated family were singing hymns and praying by her side. She was born in Chicago, Il, on March 7th, 1942 to Fred E. Waldau and Henrietta F. Waldau, she was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a dear friend, prayer companion, and encourager to many. Survivors include her husband of almost 61 years, Robert W. Arnold, her son, Robert A.(Sonia) Arnold of Pistakee Highlands, Il; and her daughter, Tammy (Michael) Schnaebele, of Wonder Lake, Il; brother, Joseph (Sharon) Waldau of Elgin, Il; and sister, Judy (Tom) Scully, of Algonquin, Il.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred E. Waldau on March 16, 1986, and Henrietta F. Waldau on March 30, 2005.

Jan was a member of the Wonder Lake Bible Church and had many friends from surrounding churches in the area. She loved God’s creation, sharing God’s promises, and encouraging and praying for others.
