Jill (nee Kortum) Bastone of Lake Villa Illinois, passed away peacefully on June 24^th, 2022, surrounded by her children and family. Jill was born to Edward and Eleanor Kortum (Celmer) on March 5, 1963.  Jill loved preparing foods for her friends and family. Her favorite holiday was Halloween, and everyone has fond memories of her decorated home and fun times.

Jill is survived by her loving children, Laura (Steve) Kruppe and Brian Finfrock; partner Jack Thomas; siblings Sharon Leppert, Janice Anders, Ed (Korky) Kortum, Nancy Kortum, Mary Clarke, and Sandy Walsh; playful auntie to many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and loving sister Diane Starkey.

A service and visitation will be held June 30^th from 2:00-3:00 pm at Northern Illinois Funeral Services, Inc 31632 N. Ellis Dr. Unit 209, Volo Il 60073. A Celebration of Life will follow at 4:00 pm at Scotty’s on 21, 700 N Milwaukee Ave/ #132 Vernon Hills Il 60061

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Jill’s name.
