Joseph “Skip” Paul Dillingham Jr., 69, of Buffalo Grove, IL passed away peacefully to heaven surrounded by his loving family on July 26, 2019.

Joseph was born August 26, 1949 in Evanston, IL to Paul and Estelle (Friedrichs) Dillingham. His childhood years were spent in Sioux City, IA and Northbrook, IL. He attended Loyola Academy in Wilmette, IL and continued his education at St. Mary’s University in Winona, MN and graduated in 1971. He had a long career with Allstate Insurance where he built many treasured relationships. He enjoyed time spent with family and friends, cooking, running, watching old movies, and celebrating life each and every day.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Marcy; his children, Stephanie (Joseph) Wahlund and David Dillingham; his grandchildren, Brooke and Kaitlin Wahlund; his sister Mary (John) Barry; and many devoted nieces and nephews, loyal friends and relatives.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, August 3, 2019 at St Mary Catholic Church in Buffalo Grove, IL. You may visit with the family at 9:30am, Mass will begin at 10:00am.
