Kathleen M. Smith (nee Froeder) 90 of Fox Lake passed away surrounded by her loving family on August 23, 2022. Born in Philadelphia, PA Kathy has lived independently her whole life, the last few years in Fox Lake and previously in McHenry, Barrington, Carpentersville and Valrico, Fl.

She married the love of her life Henry D. Smith November 19, 1952, who then passed away in 1988. Kathleen is survived by her daughter; Dawn (Bill) Huffman and son; Michael (Lynn) Smith, son in law Ed Seiler, she was blessed with 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her daughters, Karin Seiler, Robin and Lynn Smith, brothers; William (Joan) and Philip Froeder.

Her Memorial Service will be at a later date in Brandon, FL at the Hillsbough Memorial Gardens.
