Linda Lee Desrosiers 69, of Spring Grove passed away peacefully at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in park Ridge, IL on Friday, January 17, 2020. Linda was beautiful woman full of energy and life. She loved spending time with her family when she wasn’t working or out exploring and camping with her husband. She worked at Home Depot for 22 years she was a department manager for numerous departments. She really enjoyed her job and all the people she worked with. She loved to travel to Galena with her husband and her fur babies. She had an eye for decorating and it showed in her home and her appearance. She was always trendy and youthful. Linda was very loving and caring would do anything to help in the time of need for those she loved. Linda and her husband would go out for rides on their scooter until the day she fell off and that ended riding on the scooter! She then took up kayaking regardless of her fear of water, they even purchased a pair of kayaks until she fell in and that ended the kayaking days. Linda enjoyed riding around in the golf cart visiting her neighbors with Hand and her pups. Linda loved hosting her family in the summer with BBQ’s and backyard campouts. In the big picture Linda loved life, her husband Hank, her children, her grandchildren, furbabies and extended family and friends… to say she will be missed is an understatement!

Linda is survived by her loving husband Hank of 32 years; her daughter Kelly (Jason) Johnstone; her son Roger Thoma III; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 3 brothers: Daniel, Lloyd and Craig Clark; several brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Genevieve Clark and her sister Phyllis Johnston and Mother-in-law Rose Desrosiers.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday January 23, 2020 with a 7:00 pm service at Northern Illinois Funeral Services, Inc 31632 N. Ellis Dr. Unit 209, Volo, IL 60073. Rev. Cheri Tuccy officiating.

Burial will be private.
