Lorraine Wuss was born on July 3, 1929, in Chicago, and passed away peacefully, on October 30, 2022 in Grayslake, IL.

Lorraine was the beloved wife of Joseph (Gene) for 62 years. Dearest mother of Michael (Michelle), loving and wonderful grandmother of Courtney and Brandon.

Lorraine was born and raised in Chicago and with Gene, later moved to Norridge, IL for 53 years, building their first home and raising their family there. Her last several years were spent in an assisted care living facility in Grayslake. Lorraine was a housewife who never missed any of her son’s sporting or academic events and enjoyed having her family over for the holidays.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gene, parents Michael and Anna (Moloznik) Ball, and siblings, Walter, Theodore, and Elaine (Klemm). She is survived by her brother Michael and sister-in-law Colleen who would still visit her often.

Lorraine loved her scratch off lottery tickets. She and Gene enjoyed spending many hours at the nearby casinos and often made trips out to Las Vegas in their younger years. She also enjoyed her Hiawatha Senior Club, socializing with the many friends that she made there over the years.

A celebration of her life will be determined at a later date.
