Lynnette (nee Dickow) Clooney 84, of Fox Lake, IL passed away peacefully on September 18, 2023. She was born on June 21, 1939 in Chicago, IL to Edward and Edna (nee Heinz) Dickow.

Lynnette graduated from William Howard Taft High School, located in the Norwood Park neighborhood on the northwest side of Chicago. She went on to work at the Continental Can Company for many years as a purchasing agent. While working with Save-A-Pet, as a Director, Lynette strengthened her love of horses and most of all her beloved dogs and cats.

Later, she enjoyed lunching and spending time having coffee with her friends. She was a very kind person, and her wonderful sense of humor will be missed.

In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated in Lynnette’s name to any animal rescue of your choice.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
