Nancy A. Roberts (nee Warczak), age 69 of McHenry, formerly of La Grange Park., passed away at home peacefully overlooking the Fox River with her loving family by her side. She was born July 5, 1953, in Berwyn, IL to Charles and Dolores (nee Hanzlik) Warczak.

Nancy graduated from Riverside-Brookfield High School. Nancy loved caring for children and had her own home daycare in La Grange Park. She enjoyed spending her summers at the Chain O’ Lakes in Fox Lake with her family. She moved to McHenry in 2003 where she worked for many years in the electrical department at Menards in Fox Lake. Nancy enjoyed spending time boating and fishing on the Chain O’Lakes with her family. She loved being surrounded by family and looked forward to celebrations. Nancy was an avid dog lover and loved being surrounded by dogs.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 32 years, David Roberts; brother Charles G. (Laurinda) Warczak Jr. and sister Carol (Dan Heitzler) Weiner; children Lisa (Dave) Knutson and Bonnie (Gony Ruiz) Nichols; beloved grandchildren Ryan and Ben Knutson.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be private and a celebration of life will be held at a future date.
