Nikolas Antonio Carrillo, known to friends and family as Niko, was born on October 18th 2004 in Park Ridge Illinois and passed away on May 28, 2023 in his home surrounded by family in McHenry Illinois.

Niko struggled with his health his entire life but that never stopped him from smiling! He was known by all as a great warrior.

Niko is survived by his loving mother, Tracy Carrillo, his two sisters Taralynn and Lily who he adored, his Grandma Linda and Grandpa Arnie who loved him more than life itself, his Auntie Tina and Uncle Vinny who kept a special eye on him every night, overnight, and his Uncle Terry who also loved him dearly. Terry could always bring a smile to Niko’s face by letting him wear all of his different hats. Niko will be missed dearly. All of our hearts are broken into a million pieces. Being a warrior he never gave up. Niko amazed doctors and nurses and always had one more trick up his sleeve!

A Celebration of Niko’s Life will be held on Sunday June 11^th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Northern Illinois Funeral Services. They are located at 31632 N. Ellis Drive, Unit 209, Volo, IL.
