Norbert J. Sniegowski 75, of Huntley, passed away peacefully at his home February 20, 2025. Norb was born May 28, 1949 the son of Walter and Irene (Kurzawski) Sniegowski. He graduated from St. Patrick’s High School in 1967, UIC in 1971 with a degree in Manufacturing Engineering and went to Loyola to get his MBA in 1981.

On November 11, 1978 he married the love of his life Aida Selk, together they raised two boys Andrew and Thomas. Norb became involved in Boy Scouts and eventually became Scout Master of troop 803. Norb worked at Skil Corp., Bodine Electric Company, Lakewood and P.I.C. before retiring in 2014. His retirement consisted of playing softball, bowling and playing bocce ball. Norb loved walking his Husky “Xander” for miles.

Norb is survived by his wife Aida of 46 years and his two sons Andrew and Thomas.

A visitation will be held on March 8, 2025 from 9:00 am until time of the Memorial Mass at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley, IL 60142. 847-669-3137
