Raymond Robert Bach, 64, passed away peacefully at his home in Crystal Lake on December 24, 2020.

He was born on May 18, 1956 in Chicago, IL the son of Robert and Christine (Galanti) Bach. He married his beloved wife Robin (nee Ornstead) on May 31, 1981.

Ray served as an Electrical Engineer for 24 years at Charter Dura-Bar in Woodstock until retirement in 2020. Ray was a self-taught electrician and mechanic, and was considered as the go-to man by his friends, family and coworkers for many things. He enjoyed operating his collection of vintage HAM radios, camping, cycling, snowmobiling and driving his 1969 Z-28 Camaro.

He is survived by his loving wife Robin, his daughters; Alyssia (Jeffery) Staadt, Amy (Martin Srog), his grandson; Maxim Mazurek, his sister; Rosalind (James) Primmer, his wife’s siblings and their spouses; his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Inurnment will be private and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
