Ronald C. Fritz, 86, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2024, surrounded by family.

He was the beloved husband of Patricia née Polinski Fritz. They celebrated 66 years of marriage. Born in Evanston, Illinois, he was the son of Edna née Thuerk and Alfred Fritz. Ron was the brother of Edna (Bob) Ritter and Alfred (Nora) Fritz.

He was a dedicated entrepreneur, creating Identatronics- a successful ID card business. Ron was a lifelong Chicago Bears fan. He had a strong passion for golf, watching old western movies, and spending time with his family. He will forever be remembered for being a caring husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his children Tim Fritz, Cheryl (Peter) Silverstein and Patty (Dan) Kelly. Ron was the proud grandfather of Valerie (Bill)

Palm, Jimmy (Lindsay) Silverstein, Stephanie (Ben) Copeland, Lexi (Mike) Stricker, Josh (Amanda) Fritz, Meghan, Jamie and Alex Kelly and six great grandchildren. A Private service will be held. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
