It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the unexpected loss of Russell G. Siebold (Rusty) on May 16, 2022, at the age of 58. He was born on August 21, 1963, and was a longtime resident of Lakemoor, IL. Rusty was married to the love of his life, Lisa, for 32 years. They had two daughters, Sandra (Tyler) and Carlie. He was preceded in passing by his father, Carl, and his mother, Eunice.

Rusty could always be heard with his unforgettable laugh at all the family gatherings. His love of technology was only overshadowed by his love for his family. Rusty was an avid lover of animals, especially his two dogs, Joy and Razzie. On any given night, you could be sure to find him watching a supernatural show or listening to a podcast about aliens and the unknown with his dogs by his side, as they were the only ones he could persuade to join him in his passion for science fiction.

Though he was only with us for a short time, he will be forever remembered by his friends and family. There will be a memorial service held at the Village of Port Barrington, 69 S. Circle Ave. Port Barrington, IL on June 4 at 10:00 AM. Please send your thoughts and prayers to Rusty’s family to help bring them comfort.
