SuAnn “Sue” (Perkins) Gilligan, 77, passed away on March 5^th, 2021 after a10+ year battle with multiple myeloma. She was born Dec. 6^th 1943 to Muriel (Hodgson) and George J Perkins in Dodgeville Wi. Sue was a 1962 graduate of Dodgeville High School.

Sue married Terry Thomson in 1965 and together they had 2 children, Michael and Douglas.

She married John Gilligan in 1999, and they were married until her death.

John was Sue’s caregiver, support, and strength throughout her illness.

Sue is survived by her husband John, her sons Michael and Doug (Jessi) Thomson. Step children John M (Bridget) Gilligan, and Nicole Gilligan, four grandchildren, her brother Roger (Gayle) Perkins, and sister Barbara (Dennis) Reed.

 She was preceded in death by her parents and many other relatives.

Sue was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and a great lover of animals.

Sue rescued many animals throughout her life and gave them all a loving and safe home. If you would like to make a donation in Sue’s name to any Humane Society or animal shelter it would be appreciated.
