Ruth Louise Canter (neeTanner)

Algonquin – Ruth Louise Canter, 80, of Algonquin IL passed away Wednesday December 30, 2020 in Lake in the Hills, Il.

She was born December 1, 1940, in Diana, West Virginia.

Ruth will be dearly remembered as always putting everyone’s needs before her own.  She was generous, thoughtful, loving and kind.  Our hearts are broken until we meet again.

She is survived by her two children, William E. (Karen) Canter Jr. and Craig S. Canter; her three grandchildren, Chelsey, Erica and Jessica Canter; her four siblings, Delmas Tanner, Shirley Kincaid, Jimmie Tanner, Mary Unferdorfer and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Tanner and Velma Chrislip;

Husband William E. Canter; Brothers Raymond Tanner Jr, Bobby Tanner, Donald Tanner and beloved sister Carolyn Tanner.
