George attended The University of Illinois during the Vietnam era. Sargent George Paske served in Korea, as a communications expert during The Pueblo Incident. He was a number’s man. His career was rooted in consumer sales that included: Lever Brothers, V. P. for R. W. Michelle Brokerage, The Mennen Company, Colgate-Palmolive and Alcoa. An avid car collector his favorites: 29 Ford, Corvette C4, and his Hot Rod Lincoln. Rain or shine he would attend classic car shows and auctions. His two other loves were his German Shepherds: Schatzi (better known as Sweetheart) and Gentle (better known as General). George cherished his loving son Christopher. George and Christopher walked a different and wonderful path in life sharing endless love and devotion. George lives on in Christopher’s heart. Survived by his devoted family, his wife Carol Ann Atherton Paske, his son Christopher George Paske, his niece Wendy Szymanski and his brother-in-law Dr. Richard Szymanski. George was preceded in death by his father George Michael Paske, his mother Mildred Josephine Paske, his sister Patricia Szymanski, his nephew Richard Szymanski Jr, his nephew Joel Szymanski. George passed away from complications of heart disease, vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s.
