James Louis Shearrer

James Louis Shearrer 68, of McHenry passed away August 20, 2021 at Northwestern McHenry Hospital. He was born January 11, 1953 in Bensenville, IL to James and Mary (Scarpacci) Shearrer. James enjoyed a good laugh, enjoyed watching the Cubs, Blackhawks and the Bears, enjoyed being outdoors, bonfires and liked watching sci fis star trek and deep space nine, gardening, weeding (he did not like it but did it anyways!) He loved being with his family, he was a simple man and we loved him very much!

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Darlene, beloved children; Kelly Marie and James Shearrer, grandchildren; Dean, Jimmy Shearrer and Anthony Robertson, his nephew Michael Shearrer and his very loved dog Coco.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother; Michael, 2 sisters; Barbara Shearrer and Debbie Mason.

A Celebration of Life will be held September 11, 2021 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm with a 3:00 pm service at Northern Illinois Funeral Services, Inc 31632 N. Ellis Dr. Unit 209 Volo, IL 60073.847-833-2928.
