Cynthia Sharaf

Cynthia Sharaf 84 of Mundelein passed away peacefully January 2, 2022 at Thrive of Lake County of Mundelein. Cynthia was born August 5, 1937 in Pune, India to Charles and Virginia Rozario. She married Herbert Sharaf and they had a son Mervyn and a daughter Bonita. Herbert passed away January 7, 2022.

Cynthia was a fierce woman-holding fast her beliefs, defending those she loved, and always seeking to better herself. She had a great love for poetry, knitting and feeding people.

Cynthia is survived by her children; Mervyn and Bonita (Tomlyn) Mathews, her grandchildren; Sydnie, Caitlyn and Alex (Jenny) Sharaf. She loved her nieces Denise, Lorraine, Marcelle and their children who are her late sister Anita’s children.
