Thomas M. (Tommy) “BIG IRON” Bronge 62, passed away peacefully with his loving sister Susie at his side January 18, 2023 at Journey Care Hospice in Barrington, IL. Tom’s passion in life was all things trucking. He was a proud member of Teamster’s local #301 and retired with over 30 years of service November 1, 2021. Tom enjoyed taking his antique 1966 B model Mack truck “BIG IRON” and his 1975 Peterbilt tow truck to shows throughout the Midwest winning numerous awards. He was a member of the Antique Truck Historical Society, Northwest Illinois Chapter, Windy City Chapter and the Southern Wisconsin Chapter. Tom is survived by his loving siblings; Mary Kay (Alan) Mason, Fred and Susan Bronge, nephews; Nicholas (Irene) Mason, Stephen Bronge and niece; Jessica (Terra) DeCarolis. He was preceded in death by his parents Nicholas F. Bronge and Susan J. Schweda.
