Margaret Harmon (nee Scholtz)

Margaret M. Harmon, loving mother of Amy, Joseph, and Erin, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2023, in the warm embrace of God and her family.

Born on February 11, 1945, in Chicago, IL, she was the only child of Arthur and Lucile (nee Brown) Scholtz. Margaret was influenced by her mother to be a loving and caring woman, always giving her time and prayers to others. She was an extremely hard-working woman who relentlessly put God above everything. As a mother and grandmother, she was generous, loving and kind.

Margie is survived by her son Joseph and his wife Loretta, daughter Erin and her husband Joe, her son-in-law Tony, as well as her beloved grandchildren Anthony, Allen, Amanda, Andrew, Isabelle, Lucy, Brandon, and Briana.

Although she will be greatly missed by her family, all of them celebrate Margie’s reunion with her mother Lucile and daughter Amy.
