Angel Hudson

Angel(a) Hudson, 54, of Beloit, WI, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025.

She devoted her life to her family, husband, and to unapologetically being herself.

Angel was born in a suburb of Indianapolis, Indiana in December 1970. Throughout her life, she overcame countless obstacles; numerous car accidents, a house fire, and single motherhood to name a few. She inherited the love of quilting, sewing, and cooking from her grandmother Roberta, and her fierce independence from a long line of strong, brave women, which she also passed onto her daughters.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 18 years, Benjamin Hudson of Beloit, WI, her daughters Makayla (Alexander) Vite, Chloe Bowles, and Amelia Hudson, her parents Valerie (Floyd) Trees and Woodford (Sandy) Sr Bowles, her siblings Woodford (Jessica) Jr Bowles, Luana (Bill) Abshire, and Katrina (Anthony) Hughes, brothers in-law Daniel (Heather) Hudson, and William Hudson, 10 nieces and nephews, and several beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, uncles William Schaub and Max Eldridge, brother in-law Steve Leonard, cousin Michael Schaub, and parents in-law Clayton and Connie Hudson.

Please join us to celebrate her life on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Lord and Savior Lutheran Church at 9300 Ridgefield Road, Crystal Lake, IL with visitation at 10:30 AM and service at 11 AM, with a luncheon to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Little Lambs Childcare Center in Beloit, WI.

There will be a service in Indianapolis, Indiana, with details to follow.
