Larry A. McMillon

Larry A. McMillon 77, of Mundelein passed away January 27, 2025 at Advocate Medical Center. He was born in Paragould, AR., to Flossie (Levins) and Herchel McMillon he was one of 9 children. He married Margaret Schramm June 5, 1971. Larry retired from the Village of Wilmette he was the lead mechanic. He was not just a great man, husband, father, grandfather, brother and a true friend. He was a man whose presence brought smiles and warmth to those around him. Larry’s life was a testament to the values he held close, kindness, integrity, patience and dedication. His wisdom, stories and jokes are going to be greatly missed, and he leaves a legacy that will be remembered for years to come.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Margie, his children; Jerritt (Tracey), Shannon (Christine), Kelley (Darren) DeSchryver, and daughter in law Amanda (the late Phillip), grandchildren; Emma, Shane, Tim, Teige, Brooke and Bryce, siblings; Jim, Jackie (Beverly), Curtis (Ann), Tony (Patty), Marcella Jones and Shirley.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Donald and Freddie, his son Phillip.

Visitation will be Friday January 31, 2025 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm with a Service starting at 7:00 pm at Northern Illinois Funeral Services, Inc 31632 N. Ellis Dr., Volo, IL 60073 847-833-2928.

Interment will be Sunday February 2, 2025 at Liberty Cemetery in Paragould, AR.
